New Scene Production was born from a strong friendship and a simple observation. The friendship is the one Chris and Hugo share: they met while writing for the french music media Sound Of Brit. The observation is less fun: it’s hard, in France, to attend gigs of upcoming british artists on which Hugo and Chris wrote their articles — while on the other side of the Channel the venues are packed to full capacity! Why is it so? The reason is simple: it is often tedious and tiresome for indie artists to get european doors opened when they are not signed on a major label yet.

And since the number of followers or Spotify listeners shouldn’t not override the music quality when it comes to booking an artist (just saying!), Chris & Hugo founded New Scene in 2019. British bands answered the call, as were fans and curious gig-goers. Soon enough New Scene opened up to French and international artists and new musical genres. After almost 4 years, New Scene Production work harder and harder to discover new artists and enable people to see them live !
